There were 3 parts to the Kasbah Palace: the residence with its garden, and apartment on the first floor and the treasure room or ceremonial room. This recessed area may have been used as seating or for reclining on cushions. The patterns of the mosaic tiles and carved stonework indicate it was a special place.
